Hi. I’m Claire, a qualified Sport and Exercise Therapist (BSc) who has a talent for helping people who are suffering with pain, injuries or niggles that impact on their ability to take part in sport, activity, or normal day-to-day life. Whilst I have the skills and qualifications to be able to treat and rehabilitate elite athletes, my passion is for helping anyone regardless of whether you’re elite, a recreational sportsperson, or just a member of the public. My extensive knowledge and experience allows me to assist with issues relating to muscles, the skeleton, ligaments and tendons…. basically any pain, injury or niggle you may have, whether that be back pain, tight muscles, soreness, posture related, or a more specific pain in the body. My treatments may include some or all of the following:

– Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

 – Deep oscillation massage through the use of a unique and non-invasive Physio Pod machine which speeds up the recovery of injuries and issues whilst reducing pain, inflammation, and swelling.

I pride myself on my friendly, personable, empathetic, and professional approach that enables me to fully understand the needs of my clients in order to develop a bespoke package of treatment that is based on the latest techniques and research. I treat all clients with dignity, sensitivity, respect, and discretion and understand that what works for one person may not work for another. My process for working with clients is:

 – An initial meeting to understand the issue

 – A thorough physical and subjective assessment

 – A postural assessment

 – Identification of the problem

 – Agreement on the best course of action.

My aim is to treat the issue in the quickest and most cost-effective way possible and to give clients the tools they require to then be able to manage their own well-being in a sustainable way moving forward without any further treatments. I want you to be able to live the best quality of life you can and to be active without any pain or ongoing treatment.
